The only real issue you’ll have is fitting the 20-inch wheel over the front drums; the valve stem will interfere with the figment. You’ll either have to grind down the front drums or use a 22.5-inch wide flotation wheel with the valve stem mounted outboard.
Have you run the part numbers (available in the -34P Special Tools & Parts List) through your interwebs search engine? Sometimes when researching part numbers I come across a few European sites that specialize in US MVs, and show parts in stock. Unfortunately I can’t remember what they were as...
Naw, more like "current combat footage that nobody else was courageous enough to get"...or something along the lines of "Attempts to capture El Chapo's son results in combatants spilling over US border and here are exclusive shots & interviews of Border Patrol engaging mexican drug...
I don't think custom hitches for Deuces and 5-tons will ever be considered "beaten to death!" I like seeing the different designs, yours seems very well-built and looks fantastic.
Be sure to post up pics of it in action with your dump trailer.
Good job!
LOL @ NormB! [thumbzup]
But since many electrical easements are located on Fed-owned land (USFS, BLM, et al), you would need a grazing permit for the goats, not to mention environmental impact studies to be completed on the areas to be grazed...then the greenies would howl & wail over the water...
Looking good!
You might want to consider adding two mudflap mounting brackets to the driver's side frame ahead of quarter fender; that way if you tow a trailer that sits a little closer than normal, and you have to remove your mudflaps, you can stow the them there instead of having to throw...
NAILED IT!
Rusty, a centrifuge is an excellent way to remove water & other contaminants from UMO, as well as solids and other crap. There are all kinds of ways to make your own, youtube and the interwebs are loaded with home-made examples. I made one from an electric motor and used auto trans...
I understand "doing a ton of research" and how even a substantial amount of hours doing this wouldn't cover answering the most basic information, if you're new to MVs; folks who were never in the military don't understand the relationship that the TMs have with related equipment, and how...
Since I didn't see it listed, have you tried the rapping on wood blocks placed against trans with a dead-blow hammer method? As in trying to tap it loose/out?
What's your MVPA membership number? That's what supports this forum, not the "prepper community." I know preppers well, many of them own complete sections near where I live now and are already asking for help with repairing/maintaining their former military "bugout vehicles."

Profo's truck rocks; it is beautifully done, and very impressive. That's me in the camo coveralls....I've only been inside it, haven't gotten to travel in it like Simp.
Nobody is pointing fingers at you for doing what you believed needed to be done, with what you had on hand. There are a lot of misconceptions about these trucks' ability to operate in deep water, but it can be done with some proper prep beforehand.

Jim & Donna are great folks; I'm glad that everything worked out well for your recovery. I heard that William & Roger had a fun time bringing your 989 down to Kingman.
I remember one time Jim called me & I told him I couldn't talk, I was struggling with something outside in the summer...
I also neglected to mention Big Mike's Motorpool; he's on your side of the country. Excellent customer service and has been known to locate some hard-to-find bits before.
Wes nails it.
If you insist on removing the center bolt holding the spring pack together, be sure to clamp the leaf springs first...each spring is heavy & has a guidance system built in for your toes/feet/ankles. They are unwieldy at best once the center bolt is removed.
Take a good look at...
