Are all the hoses old enough to start dry-rotting/cracking and causing the leaks? If you live in a dry area and have never changed any of the hoses, now might be the time... With no pics and no further description to go on, just trying to eliminate the (potentially) obvious....

Those beadlock insert are fairly easy to install, and they make seating the beads & airing up 16.00s a LOT easier. It's worth it to install them.

The weld sure looks purdy on the tube...but the yoke end shows very little actual penetration. Wonder where that guy learned to weld like that?

YES. I replaced mine with a civilian alternator; puts out twice the amperage but weighs a fraction of what the stock unit did. Glad you were able to find a replacement housing to fix yours.
