Mounts look great. Was thinking of installing some rotating lights on mine as well a while back but never found any used lights for a reasonable price (and new ones are very expensive), so I just put it on my list of "one day" mods.
If you want to hide the wiring for the lights, you can unscrew...
Sounds like a loose connection that connects/disconnects while bumping around down the road. Or the arm assembly is malfunctioning.
On our M35 we had flasher problems. Found out it was both the flasher unit and arm assembly which were messed up in the truck. Usually it is one or the other, but...
There is no common sense that goes with that. I seriously doubt you will not get "one" answer that explains why one thing requires one and another doesn't.
I wouldn't ask either. Never know what they could do. Might even cause more of them to have an EUC put on them.
When we asked why the CDN...
Unless there is a big red banned that reads "EUC Certificate Required" near the bottom of the auction page, that means you don't need one. I only look for auctions without it for various reasons.
No red banner = no EUC
No idea how they come up with the requirements with what needs an EUC and...
A few of us did. That is why I thought the site had been hacked.
Glad that wasn't the case. But I never thought a fan on a server would cause a software crash like that.
Thought the site got hacked since I had another of those "overthrow the government" emails in my spam box on Monday. Doesn't say it came from SS, but the timing of it made it look bad.
Glad to have it back up. I was having a hard time making excuses for the SO on not doing yard work. Saying...
Is the same wiper motor that goes in the Humvee. So I would guess it is wired the same. Compare the wire numbers to the ones in the pic. If they are the same then you are sure.
Pic if from the HMMWV manuals since I didn't feel like looking through the M35A3 manuals to look for it.
Looks like...
By law we had to install clearance lights all over the M109, so they do the same job. Had to install 18 of them by the end of the day, so I hope it is enough. lol
There are many threads on this already.
These are just two that came up really quick.

Picked up an auction win today. A nice 2ton gantry crane. Been looking for one for a while and after seeing clinto pick up a nice unit a while back and making me jealous, I finally got a hold of one for a great price.
Guy at the depot was pretty nice and told us to wait just inside the gate so...
The truck is "different". But even if it was some special test vehicle, it is in such bad condition that restoring it wouldn't be worth the effort. If it had some special equipment on it, or modified considerably then it might be worth it. But you are going to spend way over what the truck is...
Post it in the classified section. But I wouldn't delete the thread (not that you can). It might help someone else in the future who is looking for info on the same trailer.
It is missing some parts and needs work, but you should be able to find a buyer. Naturally depending on the price you...
I looked online but didn't find any manuals or any other useful information. Looks like they were fazed out quite a while ago. Most likely replaced by the water buffalo's that you can heat up with a swingfire heater. Or the newer shower trailers that fold out like an MKT.
It is mentioned in...
Well if you can't get one of those, you could always pick up something like an M989. You can tow it easily behind a 5ton and it is pretty big to haul all your stuff in. You can find them all over the place. Maybe not as cool as that M1095, but it would do in the mean time.
We like our M989.
Only ever seen one pic of that trailer. After looking for a while I found the pic.
They have an on board water heater and have poles with shower heads on them to setup a shower area I believe. Though I have never seen one setup. Only a closed up unit.
I have also heard it of being used to heat...
Same as an M109A3.
Lots of info/drawings here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/5-ton-up/39051-m818-m109-body-2.html#post501518
One of the pics from that thread.
Edit: looks like gringeltaube beat me to it.
This thread reminded me to go back and look at one of the deuces we have been having a problem with for a while. We couldn't get the flashers to work. Changed the bulbs, traced the wiring, changed the control arm, everything....or so we thought.
Remembered the ground problem we had on the other...
