    Need tm for rear end

I bought a couple of those CD's in the past and simply posted all the manuals online for free. Though some people still buy the CD's for some reason.

    My M109A3 RV Project Blog

Well technically you can buy them. I know of one place that has a couple from trucks that they scrapped, but it would cost a ton to ship due to being over-sized. I also have a spare assembly in the yard, but again, shipping would be an issue. You can build one for maybe $100 in metal. But yes...

    My M109A3 RV Project Blog

I didn't notice this question until now. They are not commercially available. They only came on the Canadian M35's (MLVW's). But you can build your own. Here is a manual showing you how to do it.

    Need tm for rear end

Sadly that is one of the few manuals not on our website. I have posted all the other M37 manuals so that anyone can easily download them for free (which were also then uploaded here on SS). If someone does get a digital copy, email/link it to me and I will put it in with the rest of the manuals...

Look what I found and where!

I prefer the CUCV's as well. Though I would not refuse one if someone wanted to give me a humvee  Oh well, you can make a bit of cash by putting them up in the classified section. Will give you more money for the CUCV!

Look what I found and where!

Yup. NSN confirms they are for a humvee. That is a sign! It means you need to buy a humvee

    Roof lights/top cab lights

Yup that is the link to the file on our website. You can also click the link at the bottom of the MLVW (CDN M35) page: MilitaryTrucks.ca - MLVW Medium Logistics Vehicle Wheeled Truck I have posted it before. Didn't want to post it right away and mess up the thread in case no one was interested...

    Roof lights/top cab lights

Build/Install a roof basket. That will give you a perfect place to mount lights like I did on my truck. I can give you a link to a pdf which contains instructions from the military to build a roof basket for the M35 if you want.

    M1009 Burning smell from dash?

What is getting 30v? Like Patracy said, that is too high. If it is reading 30v, it "could be" that like your alternators are over-charging the system. It should read 28v-28.5v max at all times on the 24v part of the system. The other part of the system should be 12v-13.8v. If it is the...

    Is it worth it????

I have seen people pay $8,500 for a non restored truck before. I have also seen a lot of people refuse to pay more than $3,000 for one too. Like wreckerman said, it depends on the buyer. Is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I would recommend only doing it if you intend on...

    Is it worth it????

Fully agree. I have restored more than a few military vehicles and unless it is something pretty rare or something I intend on keeping for a long time, I am finished doing full restorations. Is not worth it for me, as I have never gotten back close to what I put in them. It really depends on...

Any info on deuce surplus dealer TNJ Murray in Dover DE?

We had a problem with them recently as well. Ordered some parts for our 5ton. 3.5 weeks go by and nothing arrives. Gave it lots of time just in case. Sent 2 emails, no answer. Called 4 times and no one ever picked up (called during regular business hours) and ended up leaving messages, but none...

Question on an AK roadtrip through Canada

Yes be careful with guns/ammo when crossing the border. I do not know exactly what it takes, but I heard it was just filling out a form when you get to the border. Just make sure you declare the guns/ammo, because if you don't they will be seized (and you will never get them back no matter...

    M1031 Recovery

:ditto: Fully agree. I am actually looking for a second M1031 as they really are great trucks. At worst I will buy an M1031 box and pop it onto the back of an M1008.

Question on an AK roadtrip through Canada

Can't see why it would be an issue driving it across the border up here. As long as you have the truck legally registered and have insurance you are good to go. Lots of us up here drive them around every day without a problem. We also drive them down to the US and back without a problem (well...

    M35a3 camper canversion

Nice job. The camo makes it look much better. It looks like the slide-in has a washroom in it. Did you cut part of the bed so that you can access the dump ports?

    MKT summer cleaning/setup

We pulled out the two MKT's today and parked them side by side. Will be opening them up, pulling them apart and cleaning everything as well as re-distributing the equipment between the two trailers. Has been over a year since we opened the faded-cover unit. The other unit was used last summer...

    24v circitbreaker for 109 box?

Too late to help. But here is a pic for those that were wondering. You can see it on the bottom of the box above the fuel tank.

If you willing to take a ride, here is one for sale.

    On abandoning your vehicle:

You forgot Nissan's  I guess it really depends where you break down and how badly. I never go wheeling without someone else, or make sure I am in cell phone range. I bought a "SPOT Connect" last year which syncs up with my smart phone and will let me send out messages anywhere you can...
