Thanks zout, but like I said above I know about that.
I am talking about adding pictures into the middle of your post, not the bottom of your post.
Like in the first couple of posts in thread (for example): http://www.steelsoldiers.com/german-vehicles/90828-vw-kurierwagen-vw-181-a.html
I have read through a two dozen threads about adding pictures, but they all talk about using the "manage attachments" where you upload pics and they are attached to the end of the post.
But I have seen lots of people post pictures in the middle of their post. I am wondering how this is done? Is...
Like Mike stated, you are going to find it a bit hard to get one for a decent price at the moment. Seems in the last couple of years almost everyone has decided to make a camper out of one which has made them harder to find. And there being less and less coming out of GL all the time doesn't...
As far as I have been told and seen, new EPA regulations do not apply to these trucks because they are military vehicles. The new Canadian trucks have no EGR/exhaust systems on them as they could cause problems for a vehicle in theater.
Glad to hear that you found it. It is pretty faint on one of our trucks as well and the first time I went to find it, I thought it wasn't there either. Seems that whatever they used to stamp them wasn't very good some times.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have a couple old one sitting around. Might looking into it if the other stuff doesn't pan out.
Think I found my answer. Was just looking in the deuce sections, but someone posted a link to the stuff in the 5ton section.
Is this stuff: Cab Insulation
Does any one...
I tried a dozen different search terms through the search engine but came up empty. I also tried google but didn't come up with it either. Which is odd, as the search engine here is pretty good compared to most forums.
I am looking for the vinyl-covered insulation that goes inside the hard...
Welcome to the site.
I would have started a new thread on your problem rather that posting in a thread about a different problem.
Anyways. The vin is in the same location on the two M35A2's and one M109A3 in our yard. Is only the last 9 digits, but they are there. On one of the trucks it is...
Thanks. The other half dozen trucks were parked in the back of the property. I took a picture but it didn't turn out well due to all the trees in the way.
Opened the two MKT's this week. Other things came up afterwards so we didn't get much else done, but we hope to have them pulled apart in the next few days so that we can clean it up properly.
Took a pic of the MKT's and part of the fleet when we went up on the building to hoist up the flag today.
They are nice trucks. Seen them in person a few times.
Some pics of the last group I found parked in a back lot.
Canadian military is using them in the mean time as a replacement for the MLVW (M35) until they can find something better.
I see you got well infected by the green disease quickly. Might as well succumb to it right away and get it over with! One is never enough!
Welcome and good to have you.
