To help put this topic back on track a bit, here is a link to the thread from Augdog1964 who has a lot of experience importing armor into the US. Gives tips on how to do it right:

Yes I have been reading some of the technical specifications on it. Looks like it gets around 0.5MPG.
I guess I would have to buy one of these to go with it:
From everything I have been told, it is another "feel good law". Meaning that it was made to make people think/feel that they are safe, but doesn't really help all that much.
Maybe in a low-speed accident it "might" help, but not for anything over 30mph.
Yes these are both corvettes that are...
Nice. We are looking at getting a similar unit for the yard. Too many things need moving. The M816 can pick up a lot, but it can take a while to hook it up then moving it around. Having something like this would make things go a lot faster. Especially when working in the back of the property...
One suggestion would be to have a system which lets you keep the positive air pressure in the trailer while you are driving around. That way it should help keep dust from being blown inside.
Yeah looks like a movie prop. Look at the end of the barrel in the last picture. The muzzle break (or whatever it is called) looks like it is made of really thin metal.
Was looking at the website for that AC company. Wouldn't their all-in-one "Oblo" unit work better for the trailer? Says it even comes pre-charged. Trailer is pretty small, so you wouldn't need that big of a unit. Unless well you are planning on putting stuff on the top of the trailer which...
Nice. Should work well.
I built mine from a pioneer tool trailer. Still have some work to do to it, but it works well.
I pulled the axle and put one with hubs that match the tires on the truck. That way the spare on the truck/trailer will fit on whichever vehicle I need it to.
You making the...
Looks good.
Another person around here with an M109 (jesusgatos) used that space to hold a u-haul truck ramp.
It is blocked back there for me. I installed a waste water tank in the back end of the truck.
Okay so it took a little bit longer to get the TM, but I finally got my hands on it.
I tried uploading the PDF here, but it didn't work. I saw afterwards that you can only upload a PDF that is 9MB max in size (this one is 29.5MB).
So just go to our website on our M37 page and download it there...
We have one as well. Got it really cheap through gov auctions. All the others in the auction (~15 of them) were scrapped as far as we were told since they were made to only pickup the military shelters so they weren't very useful for anything else.
We were thinking of expanding it and making it...
Wow. That will be one h ell of a trip from Florida to Alaska (and back). But it should go well in your truck. You are putting a lot of good work in it.
Great it works!
Thanks Speddmon! That was easy. I had tried that little paperclip before, but I see now that you have to upload the pics using the "manage attachments" thing first so that they show up under the paperclip.
Thanks again :doghead:
