Hemtt vs combat vs normal rim identification?

    From fire truck to MTV

Don’t forget most bump stops will squish quite far This is a different series truck m939, but gives you an idea of how much an empty cargo truck will give. Also I think your trucks have more axle outboard of the bump stops than these, which will allow more up travel when crossed up. A smooth...

M923a2 Coolant System Drain and Flush:

See if this link works… https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/adding-a-block-heater-and-coolant-filter-on-6cta-8-3.131589/ I posted pictures of my install on this thread, a little different than the OP’s install.

M923a2 Coolant System Drain and Flush:

Sorry, thought I read you where adding it as well as the block heater, I’ll see if I can dig up a link to a thread. This is the coolant I used https://mileslubricants.com/product/show/miles_evercool_(multi_duty_green_antifreeze)_(5_gallon) maybe @87cr250r can confirm it’s old school, non-ELC...

M923a2 Coolant System Drain and Flush:

Thats what SCA additives are supposed to be for, or buy precharged coolant, you can also get precharged filters that will help maintain your SCA levels. Just as many horror stories running ELC in these older engines. After reading both sides of the debate, I went with cheap green precharged...

M35A3- Changed transmission fluid now won't move?

@tobyS probably does, and I believe he has a transmission for sale as well. Any Idea what fluid was in it before you changed it?

    Canning Stock Route

Yeh I’m thinking your tires are going to be a problem on the dunes as well as washboard. I’d see if you could find 50 miles of the worst washboard road around, and give the truck a shakedown. Having another lighter m35 to convoy, share, parts, and weight with would be very helpful. Maybe...

    Building Slave Cable

Be careful, would hate to see anybody connect 8,000 amps worth of batteries, fighting each other, polarity reversed, especially at 24 volts!

    Scam alert

Sorry to hear you got scammed but sounds like the typical ones that slip through from time to time. zpromax777 few post over the year since they have been a member seem to be just a little odd. Maybe @patracy can take a look at them and possibly suspend their account or at least PM...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

No need to take the zerk out. Just push the needle tight up against the little check ball in the end of the fitting and pump. I screw my needle directly onto my guns hose instead of the zerk adapter shown in Mullaneys photo. Also they make needles in many different lengths.

    Bed ramps

You just need some better ramps!

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I think I can reach all mine with my long needle tip. Reminds me about time to do this…
