I would love a locking one. And like Durango said, more to keep unwanted stuff out of my tank. I like the larger fuel tank opening on my 09, as it allows for fueling options if the need were to present itself.

My Gen 1 belt give it up a few days ago. Read the wiki and went to NAPA and picked up a 15585 V-belt. It was about an inch too long. Brought it back and got a 15575. Fit perfectly, right in the middle of the adjustment window. Your results may vary. All belts are new and I don't know how...

Just changed the fluid/filter on mine and it takes her time shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Doesn't appear to be slipping, just likes to hold 2nd a bit longer than I think is normal. Mine also has a slight vibration too. Anyone have any clues?

Changed and the fluids and filters. Pulled the transmission pan and changed the filter, nothing to note in the pan. Found a washer type heavy magnet in the bottom of the pan and mine already had a drain plug, with magnet on tip. All things considered, there was not a lot of metal in the pan...
