    M925a2 Power Surge

I was hoping after you retired he would hire you for a day, and fly you out to slap it in there for him.

Western Canadian Rockwell, MRAP to Deuce adapter plates. Do I have a problem?

I think 450-500 is pretty standard. Its also what the TM for my trailer calls for, single or dueled.

2019 Findlay Oh, Armed forces day show May 17-19 Sell+ swap

I’m looking for a Deuce spare tire carrier. Two 5’ pieces of of frame rail as close to 8” tall outside dimension, with 2” legs o.d. as possible. Also would like to find an axle for my M200a1 trailer that has the 10 on 11-1/4” bolt circle to match my 5 ton.

    Crane Ideas?

Are deuce shackle pins 1”? If so, I’ll see if I have a couple more of these brackets, and get them to you at Findlay, or Haspin. I might have some other useful junk as well. I think you started with a 5 ton jib also? I cant remember, if you lift your crane off is it male or female on the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Dang! You looked at that spring pack too hard! That Ford spring is the bottom over load, it’s only meant to contact the main pack when they are loaded down. But they wont quite work as intended with your pack, more or less just a 1/2” spacer. I would just ditch the bottom spring on the other...

Drilling, tapping lubricant brand and product info Suggestions request

I use old antifreeze on the drill press and wd-40 in a refillable squirt bottle with the mag drills annular cutters, also for tapping. All ghetto, but have had good results. I use cheap high speed bits and resharpen them as necessary on a side arm grinder with a sanding pad on it, Ive found not...

    Crane Ideas?

I finally made a fixture for mounting the crane to the front of the truck. Works good.

    M925a2 Power Surge

Bump for quarterly insults...Found this fairly close to you for a good price. Mount that puppy behind the cab, pull your hood, motor, slap the new one in, go crane the old junk in the lake, and boom your done!

Trailer Brake Question...yes, I'm posting in the 5-ton section

Totally agree with Floridianson. If you insist on that trailer for both trucks, electric over hydraulic is the only way I can think of. Problem is thats too heavy to bumper pull on the pickup, so your looking at 5th wheel trailers...

Sue's hydraulic power steering in his M35A3

Yes, that was all me... Sorry for the derail G, but couldn’t help my self. Had too much fun enjoying these two... after all they endured in the Duece on their long trek across the country. Hope to cross paths again some day, and carry on in the Haspin threads!

2019 Findlay Oh, Armed forces day show May 17-19 Sell+ swap

If you guys don’t work something out I have a few that I can bring along. Also, I’m looking for a parking brake handle, air brake chamber, master cylinder, and mounting bracket for M200a1 trailer, I think M105 parts are the same, or can be made to work.

Any chance you have a hydo winch for a 939 if so I’m interested.

    Can a pickup tow a M939?

Fortunately it was a professional driver on a closed course. Don’t attempt any of these stunts at home... Michigan is the Texas of trucking.

    Can a pickup tow a M939?

Drug the 5 ton about 1/2 mile at 48k without running out of air, with me braking and steering, you can crank the engine with the starter motor of an A2 and get the power steering to work quite well for the big turns.

Sue's hydraulic power steering in his M35A3

Hello Sue! Thanks for the info, I forgot to check your truck over closely at Haspin last year. It’s almost that time again, hope you and E make the “short”[emoji2957] drive again this year.

Western Canadian Rockwell, MRAP to Deuce adapter plates. Do I have a problem?

Recheck your torque, ASAP, and if you get a chance, zip one of your nuts off and snap a picture for us.

Western Canadian Rockwell, MRAP to Deuce adapter plates. Do I have a problem?

Torqued the plate to 500 foot pounds with no change except for maybe a slight truing of the chamfer angle and slight deformation in the nut. Happy feeling gone.... I emailed Western Canadian Rockwell, received excuses, and offer for return for refund. At this point due to impatience, I’m...
