Without knowing the spring pressure, shape and durability of the piston and cap to resist point loading and wear from contact with a small steel bolt, it might be wiser to just have a simple wooden puck turned to fit nicely in the cylinder, maybe with some circles cut out of inner tube to go on...
Hey Iceman,
How many watts do plan on running off that converter? I’ve been curious on how those cheap ones hold up myself.
Also, you might as well pull the low speed fan wire off the one battery and connect it to your 12v as well, I never run mine on low just for the battery balance reason...
This is fun.
I’m fairly confident our government can take whatever, physical property from us whenever they want “legally”, if they compensate us “fairly”.
Why are we worried about this now? Maybe we should sell all of our junk before it happens...
Welcome aboard!
The pump is capable of 27gpm and 3000psi at 1800 engine rpm, but is regulated down to around 1750psi due to the limitations of the winch.
If this link works, check out my dump bed build for one of many options on how to divert your hydraulic system...
I think your talking about the quick release valve for the CTIS for the front axle. If your front tires are at hwy pressure and you have a low rear tire or two, the front will dump air out of the front tires until all the tires equalize. This process will consume a lot of air...
Are they single speed, and do you have an “affordable” source for them, before Wes tears em all up? I’m going to need something more robust when I repower my truck with a trashed 8.3.
Soooo.... I guess the “pictures or it didn’t happen” comments will meet the same fate as the popcorn emoji??? I’m sure it can be added to the **** list for the auto sensor.
Maybe we need a site glossary/instructions to help keep the callused and sensitive users from inadvertently offending...
Another vote not to neuter here! After seeing how well 6x6 does off road, I think I’ll still have 6 tires on the ground when the Bob’s are up on 2 or 3.
I’d call it good, it sounds like your guy knows what he’s doing. The nose down pinion may look odd, but as long as the shafts are as close to parallel as possible at loaded ride height, you should be golden.
All these years, and nobody answered the OPs question about mall parking???
I love my 5ton, for the most part if it will fit, or you can hook to it, the truck will haul it fairly fast and comfy.
Maneuverability? It’s a big truck and will make your M1009 seem like driving a go cart. If you want...
This video got me all exited thinking I could use a porta-power and stretch some run flats into my 14’s for the front of my truck. After doing some measuring... not so much[emoji53]
I did some digging, check my numbers before you order!
Looks like H001654 in the title of this tread is a 7” inlet!
H008154 that is in the title of 74m’s thread is a 4” needed for the deuce.
H008150 is the 5” needed for the 5 ton, looks to be $80 and up from Australia...
Let me know if you...
Donaldson Air Ram 4" Scoop H008154, US Source Found !
Bump up for CES3245th...
And I have some Redneck intake velocity data for ya, that I forgot to add.
The cap has (15) 1.375” holes covered with heavy mesh.
A couple of measurement with my cheap wind meeter at 2100 rpm.
Hopefully...
