This is the thread that I started when I painted my deuce with Rapco forest green CARC substitute.
It is an industrial enamel and should hold up for a long time. He sells it in gallons and spray cans. I used 12 cans of the spray.
One old trick I used to do when I was working in law enforcement was, get a pocket recorder and record the sales transaction. I would also record when I explained any issues with the truck.
That little recorder has saved my tail more than once.
Yes the brakes are bad on the deuce/109, but with the proper maintanance they will work just fine.

But to answer your question, yes there are many of us using a VIC system in our trucks. I personally have a VIC-3 system in mine with two work stations. One work station in the cab and the other in the cargo area.
She did it on a standard home sewing machine, using the heavy duty needles and heavy duty thread. As for the grommets, I installed them from Wal-Mart. Just be sure you get the installation tool with it.
