I would take it to a alternator repair shop and have them check it first. Mine quit charging a few days ago, turned out the exciter wire was split and not making a good connection. I repaired the wire and she is charging like a champ now. cost...... about 10 cents

I was in the 2nd Bn 5th Cav Regt when I was on active duty. I miss Fort Hood and the 1st Cav Division. On a side note......DO NOT use the Rapco paint on the exhaust stack of your truck...... It will burn and turn brown. ( I know I am a dummy :oops:)

I dont believe that you sheared the keys. If the keys were sheared you would loose second and third gear ( ask me how I know). What happens when you put her in second gear?? Does nothing happen? Does it grind?..........
