    Stopped by the NCSHP

Not sure about the fed taxes.... I was told that you pay the taxes every month on the 22nd. I forgot to mention this but if you are making and burning your own bio diesel then there are no taxes, fines or anything else, just make it and burn it.

    Stopped by the NCSHP

I spoke with a DMV officer today, who is a good friend, and he told me that I should have a really good chance of beating the citation based off of the antique tags. He said that because I was not hauling for profit, or any type of gain then I should be fine. I just have to file the appeal. I...

    Stopped by the NCSHP

My whole problem was that the trooper said I was overweight. He said that my antique tag is only rated for 4000lbs. But he weighed me at 20500lbs. he subtracted the 4000, plus a leway of 500 lbs, which put me at 16000 "overweight" Now I looked up the cost of weight ratings in the NC motor...

The load only has to be covered if it is anything that can blow out of the truck. so, no it wasnt covered. The trooper told me that he just looked at my tag and "knew" that the truck weighed more than the tag allowed. When I got the tag for the truck I told the lady at the DMV that the...

How do I bleed air tanks?

Behind the cab on the drivers side, behind the pioneer tool rack you will see two round tanks. They should have a small ball valve on the underside of each one. Open the valves and stand back if there is pressure in them. Also if you are this unfamiliar with a deuce you should start reading...

To CTIS or not to CTIS

Mt experience with CTIS has been with just a few vehicles. My honest opinion is if you are just going to use it for on road stuff and breaching doors, I say leave it disconnected and let it be. It is not worth the time, effort and money to keep it working.
