    handbrake band rubbing

Gimpyrob's link might help, even though he said it was for the M35. My pivot points on my M35 were frozen solid when I got it. It took a lot of penetrating oil, heat and pounding to get everything apart, cleaned and lubed up.

    Florida Rally is On!

I've been wanting to make Mike's Rally for the past few years and have never been able to swing it. Money was always tight and tighter now. My Cousin went to the other rally, I think, last year and enjoyed it. I'm sure they are both great and sorry to see it become a completive event. I would...

Got rid of my 156ft vessel!

I've always wanted a ship, but the lotto hasn't been a billion yet. Something that big has to earn its keep. As another post stated, you can always say you owned a ship! Glad you got it off your back.

    Mysterious brake fluid loss

Like was posted earlier, I think the plug you need to check is the one thats on the rear of the airpack, which is the bigger part behind the M/C. It's small(1/4NPT) I think.

    Welding lesson

I know a plumber that lost three fingers in a degloving drilling a hole. I don't have any jewelry, I told my wife not to buy me a band because I work on stuff and would never wear it or would take it off and lose it. 20yrs and the band wouldn't make the difference anyway.

    OK, I'm done!!!

When did it stop running completely? I reread the original post and thought it was hard to start and you had trouble keeping it runnining before you started changing parts.

    OK, I'm done!!!

Just something to think about, now that you've changed these parts you may run into a situation where you find the problem and now it still won't work, because you changed these parts. Is it still running with the changed parts?

My springs were disintegrated, I used a piece of foam from a golf cart seat I had that was about 6" thick. It looks comfy.

How to tell if you have locking differential

Thanks, I think you answered my question. With the middle axle lifted on one side it would not turn. I thought it would turn the drive shaft to the transfer case and didn't think about the rear axle holdind it from moving. With both rears up on one side, one turns the other.

How to tell if you have locking differential

How do you know if your Deuce, M35 has locking differentials? When moving tires to match circumference, I noticed I could spin each front with all the others on the ground and not the rear. The transfer case and transmission in neutral for both.

    Bed mounting hardware?

Can someone help with the location of the wooden blocks, u-bolt positions and the positions of the front springs? I spent about 30 min searching and it was getting late. I'd like to buckle it down tomorrow. Thanks in advance. The search did work well earlier on fine tuning the brake adjustments...
