The M105 springs and setup isn't my first choice because it sits lower and you need to use a lift block. Many people like it better because it sits wider and they think it makes the truck more stable. I have seen a few trucks with the M105 setup running 1400-20 tires.
Prices could be all over, depending what you want. I think getting a M105 trailer from GL would be the cheapest way. You could use the springs and shackles from it as well.
Trailer $250
Ubolts 75
Driveshaft 150
Grade 8 bolts 100
$575
... and now...
That is a good drawing. If you draw an .875" R circle on top of the 82 degree chamfer I think you will only find a very small space between the ball and the flat cut at the ends. It would be good to retighten the lug bolts more often with the flat chamfer.
Do any of you 5T multi-fuelers know if the compressor pulleys are the same on the deuce and the 5T? I had a guy wondering if the wrenches could be used on both. Are there any other trucks or equipment that they can be used on? If anyone is interested I still have some wrenches left.
I just checked Michelin's catalog and here is what they say. 16R20 takes a Tube Code 20V and the tube catalog # is 32961. The flap is a 20X10.00. FYI a 14R20 takes a 20S, # 32420 tube. The flap for this tire is still 20X10.00. International Tire and Tube has them listed for $52.49 each for the...
They are $30 for one or $50 for two. The price includes priority mail shipping anywhere in the USA. These are the military type design CNC cut out of steel. They fit well and can be used in different positions. Send me a PM if interested.
I need to have a few people commited to buying a wrench before I have another batch made. Let me know guys. They work great and they are the same pattern as uncle Sam's!
Any new news on the exhaust? How is the noise? It seems like with a muffler and the pipe behind you there would be less noise. Someone asked about the heat, is that a problem?
Any new photos? It looks good!
I would like to thank everyone who purchased one of the wrenches. I have almost sold out my first batch and wondering if I should have more made. They cost $30 for one or $50 for two with shipping in the USA. If you want more, please PM me.
I have the rear axle apart to change over to singles. I ordered new seals and brake cylinder kits to be replaced at the same time. Nothing is leaking, I just thought it would be easier just to break it down once. The cylinder bores look good and shiney. Should I just clean it up and replace the...
