The fact that you describe a slow roll to OFF tells me its a fuel flow issue. If it was an abrupt stop, its probably not fuel. All old fuel lines can swell sometimes too, so you may not see the problem until under use. Those Onans are pretty rugged engines... how does it sound when its running...
It sounds to me like a fuel delivery problem. The fuel pump that still works is probably overheating/failing under use, which is why you are seeing the PSI drop. I would get a new pump for this machine (especially since it sounds like you already are missing pumps...). How do the fuel lines look?
Did you look at your alternator before posting this? I ask because the number Zed calls out is printed right on it, which can readily be dumped into any search browser for sourcing.
For anyone interested, not the short rigid line in question... but (1) of the long rigid lines off these sets is up on the big auction site right now under the search term 'MEP-803A Hard Fuel Line '.
If you cut it at an angle, and keep clean fuel... keep it as close as you want. The military cant count on clean fuel (or guarantee that people care), so its probably higher than it should be. Do what works for you.
