For those that run these battery tenders/chargers, do you disconnect them before running? or because of their nature are they OK to leave in place as is?
And that overload came out of a machine that I swapped overloads on, only to not solve the problem (similar to what you are fighting, but different). So it should be solid... if its not I stand behind it. But I believe it won't be that part.
Sorry there was no daylight left when I got home this evening. Will see if I can look tomorrow after work. I am sure the parts are there, I just need to verify condition.
One thing you need to do, especially with the infrequent nature you indicated you will run it, is to RODENT PROOF it! There are (3) holes in the bottom of the integrated skid, which need to be blocked (But still allow air through). Also for your installation, you might want to cover the side air...
If your light comes on when its set to open, maybe the switch is upside down on your machine (like someone took it out and flipped it). I am not in front of my set, so I am not sure if thats even possible (I know some of those features on the gauge panel have little dog legs for alignment)?
Welcome to SS. Would benefit us greatly if you gave us an inventory of what you already consider 'covered bases', so we dont double work. I have a number of ideas of things to list, but would be nice to get a baseline. I am sure the folks here can get you squared away.
