Welcome to SS. As others have said, its an AN-5 (or 5/16 JIC in the aftermarket world). What fitting is on the tank, first and foremost? They make auxiliary fuel lines for these sets, so maybe you should use one of those, and just hook it up as needed (install an in-line valive to shut off fuel...
But to answer your question for future searchers... Southern Surplus has them on the big auction site for under $10 each. "Onan 186-6148 Plain Oil Seal NSN 5330-01-358-5554 Military Generator MEP-803A" Is the search term to get you to exactly where you want.
Edit: I see they list for over...
Jimmy... as luck would have it, I bought two seals (one 6 months ago, and one a month ago to replace the one I lost... turns out my wife just hides things real well "for me"). PM me your address and I'll send it down as a thank you for that gasket.
I just got done with a front oil seal replacement on an 802... I left the entire front end together and just unbolted along the bottom edges and slowly took the entire radiator end out in a single piece. I feared with the sheer amount of fasteners, that misalignment was almost assured. Glad I...
What is your voltage switch set at (hidden behind a panel, near the breaker which sends power to the lugs)? How about the AM/VM on the operator control panel... is it set to match what your voltage switch is set to?
You need to make sure your throttle cable is pulled out fully, and reverify. Not running it at proper speed will cause failures. Don't do anything till you do that.
Edit: And if its pulled out, dial it back with the rotation portion of this control, to get you back to 60hz. If your gauges are...
Edit: I must have tossed them out, knowing I would probably never have another air cooled unit. With that said, I DO have an 802 parts unit, which should have a short fuel line from the aux inlet, to the aux fuel pump I could part with.
I can't speak to the Inova system, as I have never put one in (nor have any inclination to do so)... but the possibility definitely exists that it could be wired wrong, or that it does bypass elements (like the S5). Keep it simple, keep it operational.
OK so if you want 240V, with the machine shut down, you want to open the gauge panel and look to the back wall. In the middle you will see a large switch with S8 printed above it in small white letters. Find this switch... and set it to 240V (NEVER with the machine on!) You have just told the...
The S5 says 'AC Circuit Interrupter' on the gauge panel. You have a choice to push down on it, to open the circuit, and lift up to close it (ie... send power to the lugs). When you send power to the lugs, the green light above it lights up.
Edit: Crappy MS Paint arrow, but this is what I am...
Titoveli... what kind of power are you looking to get? 120V? 120/240V, or 2083ph? Lets start with the basics, to make sure you know what you want.
The S8 needs to be set appropriately to what you want, as does the AM/VM on the face of the machine. Lets start there. This might be an easy fix...
Oh, and I may have a couple left over short fuel lines left from an old 002A I used to have, which might work if you need a small hose to go from M to M.
