Has anyone ever put an OD trans in a Gasser??
I'm wondering how it would perform at speed.

What do the fenders look like under the hood?
Early Gasser fenders are a different shape than MFs.
The Pass side inner fender is often roughly cut away to make room for the Turbo & exhaust.
PICS of the engine bay would help.....
OF COURSE it could have had later model MF fenders...

That is the kit I was thinking about.
Using antidrainback filters should help to keep the oil accumulator capacity down to something reasonable.
This would also work to keep oil level checks consistent (between the 1 minute check & the 6 hour check).

Figure I'll either need to have a HUGE oil capacity in the accumulator, OR stop the oil filters from draining back into the pan at shutdown.

I saw a pic of a Deuce on here recently with what looked to be a Oil Pressure Accumulator mounted inside the cab, on the passenger's floor/firewall.

Looks like she was going in the opposite direction and veered to her left just as she was almost past the Deuce.
Scrapes on the underside of the Deuce's rear panel seem to indicate that she hit him at a 45degree angle, approaching from the driver's side & heading toward the rear.
