Sorry Bjorn. Thats me using my oil burner tech terms. You sensor does the same function on a oil boiler application. If by any chance your oil burner turned on and there was no ignition the oil pump would continue to pump fuel into the combustion chamber. The cad sensor is there to detect flame...
I have finally completed my pyro & boost gauge installation. Took my time and this is how it came out. Thought you would like how it came out Desert Deuce. Also Bjorn your cad sensor works like a charm everytime. Thats if I actually use the cold start.
I am sure this topic has been beat to death. But does anyone know why at low speeds or any speed why the speedo gauge bounces. Is there a fix? Thankyou.
Does anyone know the torque or procedure for successfully changing the fuel injector lines on the multi -fuel Lds 465-1A? I know its sounds simple. But there is not much simple when it comes to these engines. I am sure there is a torque for the flare nut end at the pump and at the injector as...
One simple way of telling the difference is if your standing near or around the vehicle , like we so commonly do, and you cant hear one word anyone is saying. Also good way to aggravate your neighbors. No serious gains enough to consider making unnecessary wracket. These turbo's as far as I can...
I have obtained a 20' slave cable. However, it is Nato style. Does anyone know if there are adapters that will bring it from Nato to the older two pin style? If so were can I find one? Thanks.
Thankyou all. All of these recommendations sound great. But I was told you infact dont even need the FDC to run different types of fuels. I was told it just keeps the engine power consistent. However, if everyone has experienced no change in the bypass or operational I will leave well enough...
Yes I was told that too. But also I was told that you could have the same consistent output, regardless of type of fuel, and power from the engine. So I wouldnt mind giving it a try.
Can anyone tell me if there is a replacement part or an overhaul kit for the fdc pump. Mine is currently in bypass, and probably because the plunger assembly is worn out, and I would like to have it functioning if possible. Perhaps someone knows of a at home overhaul method. The pump is mounted...

Deuceman 51 I have a LDS 4651A with the same cranking symptoms. I recently had to turn my IP back. I was running 1250 or more on my pyro gauge on a decent climb so I backed it off. Know its like 1050 to 1150. But even before adjustment I hade to burry the pedal to get it started. Even know...
If anyone can allaborate on this it would be great. I have a pyro installed pre turbo and I have made what I think is a good adjustment. Prior to adjustment I would get close to 1200 degrees on a fairly good pull. Know its about 1000 to 1100 deg. I understand what too much fuel will do. But has...
would anyone have an idea on how to obtain those twist fastners which hold the canvas top down to the window frame? Also I am missing a few from the rear curtain window.
I have installed a pyro on my multi-fuel( pre turbo ) in the manifold. Does anyone know if there is a certain insertion depth for the probe. The manufacturer does not specify so maybe its not that important. Just figured I would ask. The pryo is made by ISS Pro.
You definately need to check out jtonka's posts in the ss archives. His primary oil filter adapters are the way to go. Convert them to spin ons with the anti drainback in them. You will have oil pressure within 3 seconds of the engine starting. I will try to post pictures of my primary fuel...
