Pulled the bolts, tilted bottom trailer, slid top off until it stopped then chained axle, hooked to tractor and pulled it over slow and easy. Worked fine.

Went up Monday 6/28/10 to Ft. Drum and Picked up 2-M101 A2, First time hauling 2-stacked on top. Kevin (GL) did an awesome job, used 3- holes to bolt together and drilled one new one up front, didn't need to strap it but figured the police would appreciate seeing straps on there. 175 mile trip...

Ok guys thanks for the help, TM 9 on page 245 fig. 10 reallyl helped out. looks like part # 20 (washer push rod left the building). Was able to make another washer work. Boy a power bleeder would be nice. Took forever to use vacum bleeder, Brakes work great now.
Thanks Again.

I know I've seen this talked about before, just can't locate them. I have 2 M101A2 trailers to get out of Fort Drum. EUC sent to BC, should be coming back soon (hopefully). Any PICS, Advice, Suggestions much appreciated, on what to bring and how to secure. I can handle the lights OK.
Thanks Bob.
How does the emergency brake away device attach inside the Hydraulic unit behind the lunette?. Have plenty of pressure on Lunette ring and Fluid coming out of the bleeders, TM says to use the Brake away to pump up pressure for bleeding. Unable to get any pressure, not sure if something came...
A little extra in the back will certainly help it dump easier, my brakes have been enough. I also carry a 5' digging bar or large pry
bar to get it started. Make sure you have stops installed so when the box returns it can't go past your holes. If not that pry
bar will get you lined back up.

I put trailer # 2 into service this weekend. Parking brakes work fine, although surge brake has nothing. Plently of brake fluid in resivor. I don't want to re-invent the wheel (Or the brakes), suggestions on what to do first, and proper way to bleed(that almost happen going down the hill with...
I've been dumping gravel with my M101A2 quite a bit, Never loosen the mid point pivot bolts. I broke the shackel bracket(My bad stupid move!!!). So I got trailer 2 going, They work great. You can get 1/2 " pins from Tractor Supply, they come tapper and have handle. also I reemed out the holes to...
After I undercoat it, park trailer on side hill, slide trailer off side, then tip it up, worked fine with the last one.
Luck is better than skill sometimes!!!
Thanks.
Made it back from Ft.Drum no problems, great load, very happy w/ condition of trailer, racks and bows. Makes me wonder why I don't have more green stuff.
