    X-Door rivet replacement

Ok, made good progress this evening. I was able to razor-knife enough material off the rivet heads to drill them out and replace. At least (8) of the rivets were demonstrably loose toward the top and bottom of the window frame brackets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    X-Door rivet replacement

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Replaced heater duct hoses. It’s nice to have heat and defrost now. Replaced doghouse dzus springs. It’s much quieter with the engine cover fully tightened down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Heater duct foam filler

Yeah, figured out the same after reading the TM for diverter box removal. Still working on that, all the screws are out of the diverter but it will not budge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Heater duct foam filler

Replacing the crossover duct to the driver side. Of note the plenum has a foam filler that makes it challenging to r&r the hose. https://youtu.be/6HkpSMromEY Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132386100514 Door latch shim plates. Two of the holes were not correctly placed which required hand fitting/milling to fit. Otherwise well made and solved my door latch issues. Have to say it’s a night and day...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Diagnosed high resistance to windshield wiper motor. PO replaced unit with new assembly but it was running slow and would stall. Power jumper to 24v showed perfect operation. Suspect high resistance through windshield contact ( NSN 5999-01-183-9530) but did not have time to trace wiring...

Cadillac valve isolator. Very effective in silencing the pronounced hiss they often generate with the solid mount. Common Fernco coupler or any 2” id hose segment will do. Slotted to accommodate the valve fittings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
