I thought it would be handy to have a list of local parts sources in the Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson area.
I prefer to keep my money in the local economy if I can.
There are quite a few of us around here, if we all share our honey holes this could turn into a valuable reference.

I can never seem to remember to put my jug on until it's already raining. Then it's a trip outside in the wet and the cold and the mud. A flap is on my list.
I'd probably remember if I could put the jug on right after I shut down the truck.. till I get a flap maybe I'll switch to a metal can.
Took a glance under the truck and the leak is not 100% gone.
Not near as bad as before though. Just REALLY slow seepage.
Looks like fittings or lines from the filters to the bottom of the ip. Maybe the short hose from the hard line coming from the primary. I can move the outer covering of...
So I went to change my leaking wheel cylinder yesterday after work, and couldn't find my Budd socket. Really want to use the truck this weekend, too!
So I've got another on order from Amazon and hopefully the local harbor freight has an impact set that has the right sockets in it. They show...
For the hose:

All they have is black but that was OK with me.
Sleeves and inserts I got from Home Depot. I can't find nuts anywhere local. I ordered a few from McMaster. For the most part I reused the originals, because they...
It was leaking any time the engine was running, more after running it a while. Got to where just having the in tank pump on would make it leak. Look for my thread "fuel leak woes".
I don't want to derail this guy's thread.
Following this.
I've noticed an intermittent roughness around 1500 - 1800 rpm. I have to fix my brakes before I can check but I hope fixing my fuel leak is going to resolve it.

For future searchers: PS Magazine issue 173 pg 37 covers the cork. I haven't found the issue dealing with silicone yet, but I'll update this post when I find it.
That's what I do, too.
I think it was Ferroequinologist who told me in that in SC, if the manufacturer didn't make a place to display the license plate, you don't have to display it (but have to have it).
The Busted Knuckle lives again.
I got the war department to start it while I stood on the passenger fender with my blocks of wood at the ready. She had to give it a little throttle but it fired up and ran like a champ.
The top of the ip is now dry as a bone.. no leaks there! Spotted a...
So the day I posted this, I was working on the fuel leak and noticed a leaking wheel cylinder. Pretty sure it wasn't leaking before.
The Busted Knuckle knows when I am talking about it. Ch ch ch ah ah ah
Must be something in the water. I was working on the truck tonight and noticed something leaking down the inside of the passenger rear.
That wheel cylinder was replaced maybe a month ago, too.
The author says to remove the vent line and discard it. My guess is on his deuce, it wasn't interconnected with anything.
The 1/8th outlet on the master cylinder cap gets a 90 degree NPT fitting, then a hose attaches to it which runs to your new remote reservoir.
Is that what you meant by...
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but maybe it will help somebody.
If you are a new member like me, probably (hopefully) the first thing you did was to visit the TM section and download all of the TMs that apply to your gear. There's a mountain of information there. Literally...
