If my memory serves me correct the 2x6's are for palletizing the truck prior to an airdrop. (I was in the 618th (LE)(ABN) Eng Co. 82nd ABN DIV for 6 Months back in 2002). I used to have a picture of a dump and front loader that burned in, I will try and find and post them. Have fun with it.

When I moved cross-country, I rolled it in backwards (pintle to the rear) with a loading ramp. When I unloaded it, I found another ramp and pulled it out, backed the truck onto the ramp, hooked up and left. I also had E-track installed in my truck bed at the time, which is what I used to hold...

Should be getting orders to Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX in a week or so with a report date of Aug 1. Hopefully I will see a few of you on the way there. (A road movement with an M35A2 from Las Vegas to there will take a few days). I look forward to some get togethers and parades out there.

I used an old HMMWV pintle (CUCV works as well) I also put another metal plae behind the bumper there for extra support.

I have an AN/GRC 160 mounted in my M35A2. (not working, but it has all the wiring, etc, not sure what is wrong with it) I mounted it to the trans hump using part of a bumper and the back of the bench seat.
