    power driven trailer

What I would be interested in is hydraulic drive. I see no purpose for the trailer to be self-driven at high speeds, only for it to "pull its own weight" off road so the towing vehicle won't be any worse off that if it were without the trailer. In that case, how about a PTO driven hyd. pump...

    15-kw 400 cycle diesel gen.set

Totally get what you're saying, but it just seems simpler to put a new (different) genhead on one.

    1970 Kaiser

Holy nuts that is sexy! Congrats. Its either a M35A2, (headlights in grille) or an M35A3 (headlights on fenders). Rated 2.5 tons off road, 5 tons on road. Air over hydraulic brakes, standard license requirement in most states.

Last ditch fuel choices for a Multifuel....

I would think a direct suction line and pump type system would work best with three filters. (or two, depending. Filter one: on the end of suction line. Coarse filter sock or screen, keeps out chunks. Next in line, pump. Filter two: cleanable 35 micron stainless filter (see website) Filter...

    Ctis

Ok. So everybody talks about disabling their CTIS on the M35A3. I take it that this is because the system is crap and breaks constantly, and then there is potential for all 6 tires to go flat at once. However I do like the idea of being able to air up / down my tires without leaving the cab, as...

Should I Jump in or Walk away....

As far as better brakes go, look at the 4x4 magazines and websites. Since the Rockwells are really popular for swaps into 4x4 pickups, there are a few companies out there that make disc brake conversions for the Rockwells.

And my brake pedal went to the floor!

Hate that feeling. Both times it happened to me was in my 9000+ lb GMC 4x4. First time, the power steering line blew so I lost both steering and brakes at the same time. Then the drivers side soft brake line blew while I was going down a hill towards a red light and a bunch of stopped cars...
