Yeah, all the large diameter stuff I have has glue in it. We used to use it for our subsea connections offshore. A real bear to remove.

I knew ya would. I'm replacing the wiring throughout the truck as I can/need to. With new wire (insulation included even! ). Tape degrades over time and although shrink tubing holds up with wire loom, I've found repeated exposure to hear cycling can loosen the tubing over time. The best use for...
Don't like to use either unless necessary, that's a temporary fix. Haven't really looked for a new connector to fit that 10 (maybe 8?) gauge wire as the truck came to me that way 6 years ago.... the insulation of much of my wire is old and cracked but she still runs.

Just avoid getting it in the connector if it looks like mine with bare wires, lol.

What exactly does this do? I'm assuming cool something but how does that help and wouldn't water on the solenoid cause a short (and the solenoid to cut out)?

Familiar with it. Have a license but haven't used it yet, boss is still hung up on using Ansys SpaceClaim. Be a good excuse to start playing with it (or sketch up!).

By "goop" do you mean like RTV for sealing the case or are you talking about a heavy grease to hold bearings in place during assembly?

2"? **** no wonder my springs have spots on them from the bumps hitting. I have between 5/8" and 3/4" depending on the bumper when sitting on level ground.

So the k-10 had higher capacity springs than the k-20? You sure about that?
