I wiped out 3 flaps in a week recently. the 4' rigid pipe wrench has been getting a workout. I just got these which will flex and also push the flaps back another 2" from the tires.

The only thing available as of now are the axles from an m1500 firetruck. no 5ton truck ever had airlockers from the factory. The m1500 axles can be swapped over but you have to use the housings for the airlocker axles. My friend is working on a drop in unit to fit the regular 5ton axles.
I have a friend in Texas that has done that with a few 5tons. they will do it but he has killed a few in the process. he said his processor weights in around 110k. He was recently looking at buying a HET to replace his 5tons he uses.
yes rears have 2 actuators. And fronts have one. not sure how much difference there would be on actual braking power I'm there is a difference just not sure how much. and the comment of leaving both rears won't work because on tandems the springs are outboard the frame and the steer axle...
I have some spare brake parts and stuff here if I get time I'll see if the maxi cans can be used on the front axle. steering actuation can be done several ways be it mechanical controls or electronic.
I've dealt with a fair amount of rear steer setups in monster trucks and offroad trucks. the steering part is easy I can easily help ya with that. But due to clearance when the knuckle turns and the canisters hitting stuff that's gonna be the tricky part. now it may be possible to use on of the...
Aside from the speeding sins some of us make ;) my M931A2 will bury the speedo and drives great over 60mph and the occasional bridge expansion joint can give the back nice bounce. lol
