    M38A1 engine noise

Thank you for the tips and thoughts on this project. The crankshaft pulley nut had backed off a bit. It takes a 1 3/8" something which I did not have. Once that was located, a little tightening and no more noise. Zout mentioned torque on the nut. How do you lock the engine up enough to get...

    M38A1 engine noise

Thank you for the tips. Will check into both of those today. This vehicle has about 13,000 original miles and we did replace the front oil seal a couple years ago, but probably only a couple hundered miles. So something may not have been tightened properly.

Retired M925 Finds Home In Seattle Area

RCA understood on the plating issue. I am surprised that they would even license a monster like that through a DOL office in Seattle. They must have had a stroke. When I did the intial licensing on the M54, the difference between regular and historic plates was about 300 dollars. They wanted...

    PNW Info Thread!

Will have something there but am not sure yet. Currently have 5 running MV's. Yippee! Don't worry, none of them are 98 point restorations. All of them except the 42 are in essentially original condition. They are green, they go, and they stop. I do enjoy the 5T and we don't seem to have...

Mike, if you need an engine hoist, I have one of those roll around models that you could certainly use. remember the back issue a few weeks back? As for this baby thing, some people are just too serious. When my daughter was born 27 years ago, there were complications. Baby was fine but mom...

Current forecast is for 73 on the 4th. Perfect MV weather. Got a call from the local Legion Commander last night and will meet with him tomorrow about hauling some of his folks that are not up to the walk anymore. The Legion leads the parade with the flag and honor guard. They will then be...
