between the m925a2 and m35a3 I'd go with the 5 ton. Trucks will be about the same price, similar fuel economy, reliability. Make sure to drain your air tanks.
Diagram of the crane side of the PTO shaft. Looks like the old CV joint and it's oval gear box can be removed, then take the input shaft out and have a more standard joint installed on it.
Question with that is, how much will the crossmember in the crane beds subframe need to be modified for...
Problem with the Ibis tek is that there are 3 different models. Early generation (that was recalled), light duty, and the latest 44k or 48k. Every snapped bar I've seen was a light duty being used to haul 5 ton trucks which is way over it's weight rating. If you are worried about using the...
18/19/20 (can't remember which is the seal) from the pic yep. In the picture of your axle shaft/knuckle it looks like it's coated in a mix of oil and grease. That's only supposed to be grease, meaning that the inner axle seal has failed and is letting gear oil move from the axle housing into the...
The in cab lever doesn't move far, maybe 3-4" measured from the end of the handle. Your rear clutch control (that air lever) is not moving the clutch far enough to disengage it.
What I do with mine is to set the crane engagement lever first, then from in the cab step on the clutch and engage...
The inside of the 934 box is about 6 1/2ft tall but the door is too narrow for your UTV. The truck is more top heavy than the cargo and not as good with off camber, think it's rated for 30 degree instead of 35 degree side slop.
934 box is known to have water leaking issues when expanded.
You...
Couple pics of the underside of my m816 (should be the same). 1st pic is the underside of the crane, the PTO shaft in the middle.
This pic is the output side of the power divider, the crane PTO is the lower part. The PTO shaft connects to the yellowish box to the left
With the smaller 8.3 you could move the radiator back from the grill and fit an intercooler in there without much trouble.
The frame is the same between the series, different body mounts and some more accessories bolted to it on the 939 trucks.
If you don't have the 813 yet I'd buy an 923a2...
