    Ok, That lil' tidbit about converting from 400 hz to 60 hz was not listed in this thread. I also didn't realize the 400hz genny's were 3 phase.

    With everyone singling out M818's you'd think they'd be everywhere cheap. Speaking of fit, Rich you remember this don't you? Rub together under load? maybe with NDCC's, I don't know their limit. Not sure you could put enough weight in a Deuce to bring the XL's together.

    I had one driver side front so tight. After the 1" impact failed (had 150' of hose out) I used the issue budd lug wrench set up with a jack stand to support the outer end and a 10 foot pipe. 180lbs bouncing on the end of a 10 footer! 3 or 4 bounces each and they came undone with a pow! Now...

    Make sure the axle tube vent is clear, pressure build up from heat can do that.

    The trailer frame is too weak for the job. Yeah Hundy welds em on all the time, doesn't mean it's strong, durable or safe. Just means so far no failures. Mounting a set of front springs using all the hardware from the front is stronger, more durable and therefore safer.

    That video was just one of over a dozen taken of that crossing. It makes a good training video for showing why you don't go blasting through water crossings.
