Hey it's your transmission & clutch, go right ahead with the 2nd gear high range take off's. With mine it's 1st gear High range or 2nd gear low range for take off. I use low range often, along with split shifting. gunfreak25 You should be fine for your stated use with a TH400, a 4L80 has a...

    Anybody use a 101 to haul a 4-wheeler?

    880 vs 1008 Cargo Tarps

I don't know the answer, but my M880 cover is a dark green, ( wouldn't say brownish drab) not unlike the Lusterless Forest Green the trucks came with. hmmm, I have a cherry picker for pulling engines, I suppose I could wrestle one around. So if this stuff were to make it to ODDaves swap meet 10-22-11 I could pick it up and get it up to my place. Still about 3hrs under the bridge though.

I have one of those tow bars there, also. Unfortunately I don't have a way to transfer a canned diesel.

    Dana 60 swap

Yes the Cummins Dodge D60 would have a higher gear due to the cummins low red line, IIRC like 2100rpm. Now couple that with the 37" Humvee tires and 150hp 318, not gonna work well, since the full time 4x4 T case is an open differential, you wouldn't notice the difference in power. Converting the...
