24087 is good. USMC Green looks good too. 4 color cammo and 3 Color cammo both look good and if your talking about the XM215 in cammo would be different and not often seen. I've never seen one painted in either of those color combos before.
I'm just wondering how much weight you added to the truck with all the extras besides the top? I think it looks great I'm just wondering if the extra weight is going to slow it down and kill the mpgs?
You can make anything work. You can put an M35 dash into a M211 providing you want to do some metal work. Rework the opening to the new size. Then it will fit just fine. The connector on the back of the light switch is hard to come by. GF has the right idea get one off a parts truck. The...
MV look is subjective. Do you want the look of a M880 four color cammo with black out lights? Or do you want the cargo truck that did post maintenance that is semigloss green (or just the stock truck color) with stencling on the door? Both are military.
Looks like all the typical rust spots. The hardes things in repairing the bodies on these is having a mig that is low enough that you don't blow holes in the metal while your trying to weld it back up. Looks like a straight forward project. Good luck and keep us posted.
Ken looking at the pics of your buddy doing the bed work couldn't you since it is wood adjust the size to 80x144 instead of the other size? A little longer one way a little shorter the other way.... Just a thought. BTW it is looking great!
You know it! I had my M211 on jack stands for a whole summer one year while I redid the brakes and barrings etc. One I got it all done it stopped great! Then only thing is I was parked on black top and the jackstands dug into the blacktop about 2 inches when I was all done.
Anybody know the size of the nut that holds the pitman arm onto the gear box is? I'm doing a from scratch installation and therefore have to supply my own nut and therefore I need the thread size. Any help would be well helpful! Thanks, Joe
Yes we have. I've heard every thing from "hey that's just the way it is deal with it" to "the vehicle doesn't meet current vehicle (fill in the blank, safety, emissions, etc) standards." I've also been told "the manufacturer doesn't want the market flooded with the vehicle because they are...
For what I've researched. If you want more get up and go. You will need to do a couple of different things. One is change the transmission from the 3 speed to a 4 speed (700r4). Add a turbo to the motor or better yet change from the 6.2 to the 6.5 Turbo. Then add a slighty taller tire to...
