Yep an A1 box wont work because the column on the 151 an151A1 is part of the box where as the M151a2 column is seperate. Also check to see if the box has been lubed. A dry box will do strange things also. And of course the alignment and all the joints need to be checked as well as the ball...
It seems like we have a two part question. First question is what would you carry with you in the way of spare parts and the other is what would you pull from a truck before it was scrapped. So here are my thought from when I was a M211 owner.
Part in the ammo can I would keep a spare set of...
That looks great! Give it a solid paint job in the color of your choice and you'll be good to go. Looks like a fun and practial (for your needs) project. Good luck with it.
I believe you are refering to the dash lights. There should be a light bulb in each of them that will back light the gauges when you have the lights turned on. The operator manual will show you how to turn them on.
Those are stock fenders. Doing the axle swap doesn't make the front that much wider. The only problem with it is because of the spring perch is on the diff in order to make the axle line up centered on the truck you must do one thing or another. Either A: Bump the passingers side spring to...
Folks who work at DRMOs will tell you anything, everything and nothing all at the same time. If they thought your friend was being a pest (not saying he was) then they may have told him that to make him go away. Or DRMO like all other government agencies run on rumors and that may have been...
Hi everyone,
I tried searching on here plus a google search but didn't find the answer. So I thought I would come to the knowledgable folks here.
What is the size of the steering wheel opening where it mounts to the column i.e 3/4" 7/8" etc and the spline count 36, 40 48 etc.?
Looking at a...
Yes. I just bumbed the front spring on the passinger side out about 2 inches and now that the cab is back on and the front fenders are on for fabrication purposes I can see that the new axles don't stick out all that mutch. I'm very pleased with how the axles came out. Maybe someday I'll get...
So that is kind of a low tech IFF system is what y'all are saying. Bad guys light up all hot while a good guy have a big cold spot thus don't shoot his butt. Very cool!
Ok so the truck still cuts out after it warms up? The fuel getting into the oil to me sounds like bad rings. Could be a combo of to much fuel from the carb and bad rings. I'm sure someone with more hands on knowledge of the motor than me will post the answer you seek.
Nice Truck! I like the look of the Diamond Ts that long nose on them. The "cargo box" on the back. Is that a cargo box or is a ballest weight? I am asking because I don't know.
Good luck with your new purchase and take a lot more pictures of it when you get home.
LOL 23 mph.... :D
