Welcome to the addiction!~
Next weekend the Great Lakes MVPA and the Michigan Museum of Military Transport Foundation
are having our annual Fall Color Tour (Trail Ride) on Camp Grayling.
Over 40 trucks have been pre registered so far!
chek out these links...
What was the first year for the hard top and
what was the first year for the spring ride driver seat?
I have a 69 that I am painting Vietnam era colors and am wondering if those two items were around then.
If not, anyone want to work out a trade, a correct soft top for a hard top?

I see a replica of your avatar truck in the works!
I have sworn off on adding to my M880 fleet myself, but if an M888 presents itself...............
Joe,
Was telling me that he was betting the 50 or so FMS trucks that are there would get turned over to GL. Predicting the Phillippines would back out.
If that's the case, my M36A2's shorter twin will go high, as everyone will have to get past me for that one :cookoo:
Todays fuels suck!
If you have any rubber fuel line that is more than a few years old it may be detieriorating and swelling on the inside, restricting flow.
30 some years of crud build up on the in tank fuel sock could also restrict flow.
and as mentioned a low float level can act that way too.
Next Week!
Advance registration discount is over.
You can register right up through Saturday the 25th.
Not a member? Easy, join up and register at the same time!
Shirts have been ordered already, as always there will be some extras available on site, but they usually don't last long.
2 things touched on above
1. possible issue within the winch causing extra drag ( unlikely)
2. shear pin already partially sheared during the last use. (my pick)
I have 2 A2's that have a switch & light
One light is in the center of the gauge panel & the other is in the dash to the left of the map box, I think each has a different switch set up
nothing like the one pictured above though.
edit:
both trucks do have the same switch, it is a lever switch...
Membership has it's benefits and is cheap, required for liability reasons.
