Back in the day way before Self-Serve, I was a 'Professional Petrolium Transfer Agent'
The places I worked had the Diesel pump off and away from the gas pumps.
and the "big issue" was between "regular" and "unleaded"
and that clerk was in violation of mandated procedure for former untitled Government vehicles.
you mentioned a 17 digit vin, Deuces don't have that.
"printout of the auction from the website (so they can link the VIN to the Lot# on the invoice)"
some of the auctions that I have won, have not...
There is really no point in getting it.
You would need it to get a title, but Michigan won't issue a title for it anyway.
I would think you could take your paid in full invoice with you and get it registered.
If that don't work then buy the SF97 from GL
My guess is that GL paid for most of that calender.
The Thursday reminders tell you that.
I am very happy with it (calender).
So what if GL ads are in it?
I'm sure all MVPA members are aware of GL by now anyways.

is
"SEC. 28-81. PARKING OF VEHICLES WITH CAPACITY OF MORE THAN ONE AND ONE-HALF TONS IN CERTAIN DISTRICTS."
is this a subsection of a commercial vehicle ordinance? if it is then it wouldn't apply.
secondly 3500 series pick ups have a cargo capacity greater than 1 1/2 ton...
Yep you are right the michelin is only 9 1/4" wide across the tread blocks.
but I guess mine are not worn out enough yet to be rounded on the edges.
Sure the F'stones have the outside blocks closer together than the XL's which may have an impact.
but I have to think yours is an alignment...
I have heard of people using the frame serial # and corresponding year to register the A3's.
The frame is an older A2 frame, and in most if not all states the frame vin wins out over a tag screwed to the dash board.
Wise move on not letting them title it as off road.
around here they are...
sandcobra164,
So you're saying the 1100 "Firestone's are much wider" than 1100 Michelins
While I don't have any Firestones to measure, I ain't buyin' it!
While I don't know their names off hand , there are a few 5 ton owners in your neck of the woods that frequent here, I imagine one of them would be happy to come by and show you some important items about your new 5 ton.
Meanwhile find an operators manual for your truck ( or M809 series of...
WOW?!?!?
When I put the 1100R20 Michelin XL's on my M36A2 I was amazed at how much better it went down the road as compared to fighting it with the stock 900-20's.
It tracks down the 2 lane blacktop with ease.
I too, am painting my 69 M35A2 back to its original colors.
I would trade my hardtop for a canvas soft top setup also.
You can switch wood and fiberglass boards, everything else is the same on the seats.
wb1895,
actually not a bad offer, but the truck is "Fort Eustis Transportation Museum's...
In Michigan for previously untitled Gov't vehicles, the TR 54 vin inspection is not enough.
You must have a SF-97.
for "body style" the SOS is now classifying these as "utility" due to the 3 axles (and varying bed configurations.
