I think the problem here is that the threads are coming in to fast to read them all. There are usually 10 new pages between visits for me and there is no way I have time to read ten pages. The bit about the old way of seeing the the past threads that keeps coming up? I know you say it is never...
I can't follow the new threads like I used to, Now I can only see an ongoing stream which is useless to me and the bar on the left which shows very little. Am I missing something? I understand change but I don't live on here and have very limited time to spend here so I really do not have a lot...
JP-8 is just another more refined form of diesel. You will find it will not touch the tar like substance I think he is talking about. Plus, the method you mention is a sure way to wipe out an injection pump, not exactly what I would call good advice. But hey, it's your machine, do what you want...
Old fuel will turn into a substance that make stale gas look like Mister Kleen! It is NASTY!!! You will find that almost anything you use to clean it will make it even tackier. I have found the Xylene is about the only thing that cuts it, Xylene and a stiff bristle brush, heavy rubber gloves, a...
The front bumper has been pushed back into the right front fender. It is still there, that in turn has pushed the fender back. Not a big deal, chain the bumper to a tree and slowly back up, bumper fixed. Loosen all of the fender mounting bolts along the top of the fender and under the front and...
Found them, Not exactly sure how or if I can do it again but at least I know they are still in there somewhere.
The color combo's are still very hard to see, That has been a complaint of mine for years.

I like the one with the muffler mounted to the roof. Less exhaust noise but that thing must have vibrated your teeth out! Unless it was rubber mounted.

I am confused. You have one post and you start out with a poll asking how long we have been on here. You also mention you ran out of fuel but you have pressure at the filter. Do you have return flow through the return line? Plus all the things Hans asked. I am wondering if this is a real post or...
Keep in mind that the 10 day pick up is 10 BUSINESS days. No weekends or holidays. A lot of the time you can get an extension although I would not recommend it because that is just longer for others to pick over your vehicle. It also does not include days that they do not schedule pick ups so...
Is there any damage on the front? It would not take much of a bump to push the brush guard into the fender and that moves the fender back just a hair and then someone opens the door which now does not have room and what you see is the end result.

I wish I lived closer to you. I saw your post on the needed recovery and the bit about the trailers. I would say buy them on trailers and I would pull them to your house where you could remove the generator and I would take the trailer away for you.

It is a fairly common problem and there are a lot of aftermarket solutions for it out there. Not really too bad of a job if you have decent welding skills or a good welding shop. The aftermarket plates are designed to form fit and weld in the critical areas. If you do not see the cracks with the...
If you look at a lot of the old antique diesel and gas hit or miss engines they mostly used roller lifters. They are not a new concept that is for sure.
