    M151's at Chambersburg Today

I got a 151a2 out of FT. Drum about 8 years ago and at that time I pulled all the parts and then cut the body into many pieces, plus cut the suspensions and axle shafts. Then loaded everything into my F250 and a M105 trailer and hauled it home. But that was pre GL days so who knows what the...

    880 recovery

Could one find 17" rims to go on the truck? To me it makes sense to just go a 1/2 inch taller if that gives more tire options and better safety.

REDUCED: FOR SALE: My new uncut M151, what to do with it????

RE: M151 I agree with tbanks the g838.org group is a good group. It is a M151A1 and sorry to say this, but it looks like it might have been cut. Looking at the pics it seems that there might be a reweld spot. I like the electric light switches on the dash...lol. It is rough, but with time...

Different Hood Stampings? & how no filler is ugly.

Good job on the arrows Dave. Tim, you could have used MS Paint to put the arrows on....but I think we've gotten the answer now. You really need to invest in a media blaster to clean up these old MV parts.

    M211 Project - A work in progress

The M34 and the M135 both had the bed with the raised fenders. The trucks also had single 1100X20 tires instead of the dual 900X20s.

Different Hood Stampings? & how no filler is ugly.

Tim, I'm sorry I can't see what your talking about. How about a couple of arrows to point out the difference? You parts truck hook looks like it might have been in better shape than the replacement one.

    11Rx20s Handling Poorly

Could the tires being radials need balancing?

All things considered it's not in that bad of shape! Congrats on your new MV.

    M211 road trip

In planning your trip figure a road speed of about 45 mph and also take into account hills. The old girls don't run up hills to well. So if the place is in a mountain area (seems like most military posts are) that may add some time to your trip also. 540+ miles trip you might give thought to...

    1951 Reo M48-New Toy

Yep that's not a turn signal lever that is an air brake handle for the trailer. As soon as I saw that with out going to the rest of the pics I said he has a tracktor...then I saw the frame and it confirmed it. Please keep us posted with your restoration I'd love to see a Gasser 5th wheeler!

    veitnam usmc

About the only marking you may find for a unit on them would be a diamond with a unit number like a <3> for 3rd Marine Division.

    Trailers on GL

I was wondering that myself? I would think one would want a M101 to go behind a M880 and not a M105 which is for the M35.

Brake parts - wheel cylinders, specifically

When I had a M211 some 10 or 12 years ago....I got 12 wheel cylinders from Niagra and they worked great. I got the MC from a truck parts store....when I was done rebuilding the system I could stop that puppy on a dime and give nine cents change. I would think that somehow the ord # could be...

    Gasser Tune Up

RE: Re: RE: Gasser Tune Up Yep that is a very quiet motor....I think its kinda cool that way. I'm wondering Tim about the timing....Where abouts did it settle down at degrees wise when you locked it down?
