In my experiences with these trucks.
The fuel pickup in the tank and the fuel lines get quite rusty from just sitting.
This rust restricts the flow of fuel, making the pump work harder.
The rust particles get sucked into the fuel pump damaging it. While it can suck fuel through a shor clean line...
Yes and no,
the9.50-16.5 & 9.50R16.5 and the 8.75R16.5 are strange and don't follow that rule they are 75% sidewall. Not 100% like the military tires.
as for the 900-16 NDT/NDCC even the XZL's they should be 34" but they range from 35.5 to 36.3 diameter, depending on brand, go...

As can be seen in the piic above a 36" tire will tear up the rear of the front fenders unless the truck is lifted.

I got a line on the cross member(NOS) for the skid plate, he has several. never seen a skid plate yet though.
Would be interested in 2 or 3 of them (skid plates) if anyone knows where to find them.

Don't work:
Parking lights(taillights), front, back or side
Instrument lights.
Does work:
everything else
Have power at fuse
light switch checked
searched for loose connections.
Now I'm trying to find where...
Had some time to look a few things over yesterday.
This thing has 4.88 gears :shock: :mrgreen: and a locker in the rear [thumbzup]
& I had that thing running 60 - 65 mph bringing it home :oops:
Have to buy wheels & tires. (as I posted in the "Coversations" forum)
