    Tires

Yes, I wouldn't want to tow a heavy load, but regular driving & light hauling they seem fine. with a 4 speed you have a lower 1st gear, should be fine.

    Sheriff's deuce

Our Sherrif Dept. aquired 2 ex MP CUCV blazers at no cost to the county. It was through a Homeland security program. When and if they decide to dispose of them,(after a minimum amount of time, 18 months I think) the county can auction them off, the same as any other of their equipment. Different...

    New here, with M880 questions

I am pretty sure none of the M880 / M890 series trucks came with winches. I am sure that there were Military (non M-series) Dodge trucks with a pto winch I have seen pictures of a 78 W400 with one, Also a 72 W200 ambulance owned by odjeeper (aka Brian) has a winch...

    M880's 2nd Life

POR is AWESOME, IF you follow the directions, It will permanently stick to bare metal or rusted metal only. It will peel right off anything else like paint, dirt heavy rust flaked areas. If you scrape or grind the heavy rust off, liberally apply the POR15 with 100% coverage on the steel, both...

    Tires

36 x 12.50 x 16.5 on stock M880 wheels. Truck has an extra leaf in the front. Going down the paved road the outside 1 1/2 inch of the tread does not touch. which keeps the noise down. They handle/ride better than I expected. I won't keep these on this truck long as I can't risk the fenders

    Power Wagon Ambulance...

RE: M886 Dodge Power wagon I haven't heard the 400 thing, Although if there was, It was probably 400 were M893 2wd ambulances. which would have been for state side base use, no off road. If you are converting to a camper, I may be interested in some of the military parts.

    M880 Troop Seats

Re: RE: M880 Troop Seats No extras on those parts...........but..............I do have a box of the nuts / inserts that go on the tailgate for the "cargo cover retainer bar" (don't know real name) to attach to. Far better than drilling holes all the through the tailgate!
