Used my M1082 today to haul some wood (that will soon get cut up for firewood) from a tree that needed taken down so it didn't fall into either of the houses it was between. None of the huge logs got loaded as it was all done by hand. Will be hauling them soon with a drop gate/ramp civy trailer...
Here is an enlargeable photo of the original. The truck was in line at #2 out of over 100 entries in the Barnesville, OH Pumpkin Festival, only behind the color guard and the police escort. The crowd loved the truck. My mom rode shotgun all dressed up Texas style in a teal cowgirl outfit.
This was measured in person. It is an M1082 trailer, but it is the same bed cover. The cover is a little taller in the center of left to right. My drawing skills have room for improvement.
The trailer is just short of 8' in outside width. Inside is most likely about 4" less considering the posts/fold down bedsides look to be right at 2" thick. Not sure of a humvee's width. I am not blessed enough to have one in my driveway to measure.
That is a very broad stereotype. A bit out of bounds to group all citizens of any nation in one catagory. ( Edit: I see not "all" but if enough to be kicked to the curb, must have meant majority)I have had to work with some slackers and carrying their weight does get old, but in no way is that...
