You need to change your hydraulic head o-rings and probably the boost pump seal too. Need to stop the fuel in oil contamination first and foremost, then move forward. Running it with fuel in the oil is hard on bearings and cylinders even if not under a load.

I already got a replacement pump installed and set at 16.5°. What I need now is special tools to service the broken pump. I need the governor nut spanner and the flyweight assembly puller, but I can't seem to locate a place to purchase them. Even finding replacement parts has been difficult...

Pull the cluster out. The wires coming off the back of the start switch lay tightly against the dash to firewall support plate and they rub through right there. 5 minute fix.

You want MK48 gauges.

The real silver lining is that it will stave of the fading of the hood paint from the engine heat. That's the main reason I'd insulate the hood.
