The air pressure changes and bascially breathes in and out based on the change in temperature.
The filter is to keep any foreign materials from getting sucked in.
Heck, I have seen the system as a sealed system and using an expanding bellows to accommodate for the pressure changes, but I don't...
I prefer to run it into the air intake, so it gets filtered air.
If you want to run a separate filter, I like the little K&N oil breather filters. They are cheap, and with the oil coating, really help keep out more moisture.
Fuel filters!
Start by trying to see what drains from the primary filter (with the fuel pump on.)
I like to drain it into a clear plastic bottle (like a 1 liter soda bottle.)
That way it easily catches it all, and is really easy to see what is in the fuel.)
I wanted something on my own computer, so I put those two lists together into a spreadsheet.
Since I cannot upload the file type to SS (spreadsheets for Open Office are labeled .ods) I put a copy online.

A stock 105 axle that has duals on it will be slightly over legal width. I think around 103"+
I have thought about so many uses for my m200, but still haven't done any of them.
Of course my extra 5th wheel setup is still sitting 430 miles away from me.
If you mean the ones on the rear axles, then that is for the maxi brakes (parking brake).
By applying air to those, it releases the spring tension from the maxi (the second air can), and releases the brakes to work as normal.
If air pressure is lost, or you remove air pressure (pushing in the...
Argh, if it was Sunday, I could make it.
Btw, I am going to pickup the 6 ton expansible off post for the winner this coming Tuesday morning.
Stewart, if you haven't locked your trailer up before then, let me know and I can help you out.
Get a BIG heavy chain, hook to the handle, then give it a good yank! If you have a heavy chain, and when the slack from the chain comes out, you can really get one that is 'stuck' to come loose.
I often have to do this on wrecked trucks. Not really a good way to pull them out of their' bind'...
Oh, and what entrance depends on what you are driving. Normal vehicle, visitor center (exit 120 ) to get your pass. You need your vehicle insurance and registration. And your driver license.
Something like your deuce, then the commercial gate (exit 123 I think). Be prepared to open every door...
If you already have an appointment, it is a lot easier. But you can request to review lots.
The GL side of it is EASY. The visitor center can be a pita with some of the people that work there, especially when just previewing stuff.
I just wish I could get a pass good for a year. Be so much...
Ok, so it's slow for the smaller ones, but they seem to work.
I don't need it for fine filtering, just to get the bulk of the free water out, plus other large junk.
Good luck Al!
Bingo!
You NEED to make sure you make it clear it is USED motor oil, NOT waste motor oil.
Used motor oil is no big deal, within reason, waste motor oil is meant that it is contaminated beyond a certain percentage, and is regulated.
I think a heavy duty switch to allow swapping back and forth between single and three phase shouldn't be too hard.
Good work, and keep up the progress.
You need more then 12" of travel.
Your measurement only accounts for normal up down movement, but doesn't allow for side to side articulation. So if you go over a big bump that is a lot higher on one side, the opposite side will droop further. I measured close to 14" of travel.
Also, you can...
