The only thing that is bothering me is my truck is a 86.
Looks like oem smooth fuel rubber return lines. The new line are Woven fiber outer In I presume rubber inside.
I'm heard or read people having failures with this new design.
Am I reading wrong?
After the truck is 34 years old with looks...
I see, so sometimes if your told reference the TM , although TM might or could be incorrect.
That can be frustrating, make you think it's something that it's not.

Are you running OEM glow plug card setup? As the TM calls out the smaller orange wire as voltage sensing wire from gp card, not counterdicting you just trying to figure the issue out.

New to me D30
Having some wiring issues on the solenoid. I've attached to pictures 1st picture showing how mines wired up 2nd picture showing the TM.
So by looking at the TM the small Orange wire in this picture that's on the bottom large post ( with the other larger orange wires going two...
Here are some pictures, People criticize me before because that steel on aluminum, but if you notice there is a thin piece of rubber in between the metal and the aluminum to protect that situation.

Yes I've got the very same truck except for it's just a cab and chassis had the maintenance Box on it which was removed it is camo though

Looks like a M1031 with the modification that's what the tag says. added the 2 wheels (dually) makes it a M1028 now

Well I guess the M998 an the M923a2 i had didn't have any problems ever, they fired right off instantly.
All these tales about these trucks not starting and slow starting and all that, it's perplexing.
I hope when I received this M1028 It doesn't have a virus[emoji1787]

I'm a firm believer of oem stock stuff. I like bulletproof stuff.
But when I hear or read tales about a runaway starter chewing up a fly wheel that's pretty scary.
It seems to me like the engineers should have put a idiot gauge or light for the glow plug system. That would determine the reading...
