The cover over the muffler is your heater core mount. The biggest difference in the M809 series heater kits is the core is on the passinger side which requires a diverter box backards from the deuce and a half.

The B'more lot is probably Lithicum (sp?) motors but they went thru a major scrap drive a few years back and they were extreemly difficult to deal with..."that's my price and if it doesn't sell it can sit there and rot"...till he scraps it for a fraction of my offer. I'll see Fred tomorrow...
I had a deuce do a similar thing. It was a sticking by-pass valave in the mechanical transfer pump on the side of the injection pump. It was stuck partly open. At lower rpms it would bleed off too much fuel causing it to run bad but if I could get past it, at higher rpms the pump was spinning...
I think you guys are barking up the wrong tree on the compressor. Even if the compressor were locked up it would smoke the v-belt before it loaded down the engine. Also the air governor works by unloading the compressor, not venting to atmosphere, that's what the small diameter copper line...
I sold my Peacecrapper, hallelujah! The only two I know of for sale now are premo condition at premo price. Uhrig has one he just got in. Rick sold his Commando project. Alan Wise might have one for sale. Last i looked repo-depo only had a restored V-100 for sale....cha-ching.
