Well, I imagine it will filter out the FREE water fairly well. Figuring it will be under very little pressure (just the volume in the funnel.) I believe it will help with that part.
But I wonder how well it will do it with the WMO/WVO fuels.
Without pressure/heat, those are SLOW to filter...
Those filter funnels look nice!
flebay has a few, about $58 + shipping, for the RFF15C which is the biggest/fastest they make.
Not sure how well it will filter the WMO/WVO though, with it being thicker. Definitely want the biggest filter to use with the thicker fuel like that.
Try it out Jesse...
CA only allows it for properly secured seats and seat belts.
But I never looked far enough to see what their definition of those are.
Example, subaru brat, some had real seats in the back with seat belts.
But I know they had some more changes going through this year I think. So YMMV....
While putting air back into the tire, hit the sidewall with a sledge hammer to help the bead slide up and cover the lock ring.
You don't have to have very much air in the tube to get the sidewalls to move when you use a hammer.
This is a nice safety issue, because once the lock ring is covered...
Anyone put any thought into a demonstration?
Like I could show how to break down a tire and swap it off the rim, etc. (You listening Josh????????)
I hope to have a GP small fully setup for the FE. Maybe a few extras for people who want one for themselves ;) You listening Scott??????)
HOPEFULLY...
You would be surprised at how much faster and EASIER you will get a load moving if you use the low range.
Doesn't mean you have to, by any means. Just makes the job of the truck a bit easier.
Drive a Road Ranger, you would have to either double clutch every shift, or just not use the clutch for all shifting (after you get it rolling).
On my 818 with 16.00's on it, I almost always run both ranges. Takes a lot of stress off the motor/tranny. And helps get that thing moving with the...
You can still use it, but think about running a two stage regulator. That keeps it from changing pressures rapidly at a single point (big temp changes cause the freeze up, especially with poor fuel quality.)
Just takes a little more planning, something you are NOT afraid of!
I wouldn't rely on propane when it gets COLD. It will freeze up the regulator and lines if you have any kind of volume running through them when the temp drops enough.
It's kind of sad when you need to keep the propane warm so you can warm other things up....
Well, I FINALLY got around to replacing the solenoid.
FYI, Cummins northwest wanted $76 for that sucker!
I got it for $30 of flea-bay.
Pulled apart the manual valve, turns out that the shaft is bent, and that is what is causing the leak.
Anyone have an extra one of those they want to sell me?
Does anyone have some tent poles? I would love to bring the GP Large and have it setup, but I am lacking all the poles/stakes for it!
Aaron, cool about your neighbor, especially with the narrow angle to get into the back section.
Cool sign! And off course we all know that Amber rocks!
I will probably be the only one that needs more space for maneuvers in your yard.
I do think we might need to plan the parking and 'driving lanes' with this many people showing up though!
