One clue with the older trucks is the dual speedometer scale: if you have say a 1966 Kaiser and it has both mph / km then the speedo has been replaced.
Cheap to register, cheap to insure, fuel mileage aint bad.....as long as the injection pump is good then I'd say yea, go for it. The cost of a replacement pump can exceed the value of some of our trucks 8<)
I dont know the answer, but can comment that an hour or two labor is the least of your worries. I had the IP changed in my CUCV recently...it was a thousand bucks for a rebuilt one w/ labor. So now that I have replaced the most expensive part of the truck, I may as well fix the little stuff and...

Attached is the Crown Victoria pic, Kinda redneck but thats what I had to work with at the time.
Hey K9 Vic, I used to be on the CV board as well... I had the lifted '96 with BFG all terrains & 3.73 posi for running the riverbanks in Mexico. It burnt to the ground so now I have a CUCV 8<)
OK, the truck has been parked in the garage a coupla months, its not 1000 degrees outside, I'm ready to take a look at it again. So first thing I did was go to NAPA to get the crankcase breather hardware...no luck with the part numbers listed in this thread or others. Same with ORiellys auto...
