We have one of those M936A2 wreckers with the counterweights. Would be easy to reproduce and can take some measurements if anyone would like to take a crack at it.
What's the preferred tool and method to adjust the brakes on the M939 series trucks? The manuals are not too specific, and we were in a pinch, so removed the inspections covers and used a screwdriver. Would just like to be better prepared next time.
Cheapest/easiest way to use the brakes to improve traction is to add cutting brakes. Nothing automatic about it, but it's effective (compared to open diffs).

Interesting. I have three (one and a half pair) of the 3/4 & 1" combo feet that fit the medium adjustable towbars and would sure like to know if they're unsafe to use.
