I have a collector policy from AAA in Utah that is full coverage on agreed value of $10k, cost me $150 a year, no garage requirement or mileage limits.
Probably of no consequence, but I just titled a '91 BMY Harsco M932A2 in Utah with no problems. I did not register it for plates as it will be dismantled. I just figured that in the end it would be easier to scrap the left overs on a Utah title than on a SF97.
I'd buy one just for the seats. Let alone the other goodies in there. I'd bet they have all wiring, switches, lighting and instruments too. Those would be a great parts source. What base are they at?
Run those vents high enough and you can increase you wading depth without the expense and trouble of installing the fording kit. This is what a lot of off roaders do to their trucks. Good idea.
From the bulletin issued, they are to stop use of the Ibis tow bar. That is enough for me to steer clear of them. The use of the other medium duty and heavy duty bars are obviously the way to go. I have a heavy duty bar, doubt it will ever break. The only drawback is the weight. I think I would...
This is why I have the heavy duty bar. I don't think a 5 ton would ever bother it. Of course it takes 2 men (strong men) to use it. Hope every thing else is OK for you.
You guys are great, so time to test you with my next question. Under the front of my M923 bed there is a rod style arm with a canvas strap hanging of it, there is one on each side. drivers side is above fuel tank, pass is over tool box. What are these for? Is it a stow point for a tow bar?
AAA RV should cover it. Basic AAA won't. But it needs to be privately owned and not use commercially. Of course now I'm going to call and check. They will cover a BIG honkin' Motor home, my 5 ton shouldn't be any different.
I admit CTIS does have it's place. I can also air up other stuff with out having CTIS. And in case of flat I have AAA RV Plus to call if needed. If they will cover a 40' bus chassis motor home they should cover my M923.
Mine appears to have a lockout on shifter for reverse when in low range. I can't even select reverse until I have returned to high range. Or I don't have a clue what I'm doing which is a possibility.
I know someone will chime in and say go to TM but I am just seeking a simple answer. What is the speed sensor on the tach drive cable at the IP on a nhc250 for? My truck has it but my friends truck is missing it but has the electrical lead #995. I think it is for trans shifting.
I don't have a floppy drive. I tried one at work but there was no program to open it to see the data. I know it's the service history of the truck. The little bit of paper work shows that it only has around 19K miles on it.
