IMHO I think it's overkill for police agencies to be equipped like a military unit. Here our police don't have a MRAP, they have a armored Suburban. I think that is more sensible. But who am I to say, my tinfoil hat is out getting cleaned.

Thanks doghead, That does help. When I search super rope I get more threads that are about super singles than rope and a lot of them about cable and tow ropes. I will never claim to be very computer savy. I guess I need to learn how to refine my searches.

I need to get the rubber rope for the cargo cover, but I need to verify a few things. What is the diameter of the rope(1/4", 5/16", 7mm)? And what is the material it is made of(Buna, silicone, neoprene, viton, EPDM)? and lastly how much length is needed to replaced it all on a M923 cargo cover...

I now have a camo cover on the my M923. It is the 3 piece Marine style. It does look better than the tan one did. Although I would like the 1 piece with rubber rope style. If some one has one let me know, I'm interested.

If your talking about the 6x6 ones pictured at the site you list look close, those all appear to be on M939 series chassis'. They are not armored, just look like it, they are trainers.

I have a collector policy with AAA here in Utah. It is a full coverage policy with a $10k agreed value, no garage requirement or mileage restrictions. It cost me $150 a year. I bet this thread is closed before the day is over.
