Cummins showed the right number. You input helps. I will just have to pay the extra money to get the Fleetguard conversion. I think the filter number is right for both.
Thanks
Chuck
The number is listed in the CARC data sheet in the tech articles section. They have a part number for the carc with the different colors having different numbers but I am not sure if this is exactly what you are asking.
They may have given me the discount as I am own a business and they asked me what business it was for. If I was going to the GA rally I would charge you the UPS hazmat fee added on top. If I can be competitive with the pricing I may look into getting it in bulk and shipping it. Is anyone...
I called today and was quoted $65 a gallon for my business. I plan to get a few gallons of green, then some a gallon each of brown and black. Anyone else want some at this price? I will be going sometime next week. You can either pick the paint up at my house or I will bring them to events I am...
I read the tech articles on both these subjects. They give Napa numbers. I did the wiper upgrade and the result is amazing compared to the old wipers. I have had questions recently about them so here are some cross numbers I found for the Napa numbers given in the articles.
• Napa 4309 filter...
I just went to my local store. They tried to cross the number given of 3300923 S. They came up with a cross for 3300922 s. It showed to be a filter adapter base for a 68-75 cummins engine. Does any one know if 3300922 s will also work for the 800 series five ton oil filter conversion? I was...
I really can't commit to much this time of year. I can't take the time off and my even be forced to work. This time of year is real busy. I would like to be there with one of the trucks if I don't have to work. I drop by and talk on Saturday.
Check under tech articles. There is a write up on the upgrade. I also did a post about 6 months ago on it. I forgot the numbers but I took the napa numbers to my local parts store and they crossed them to an anco number. I used anco stuff for my upgrade and it is much better than the original stuff.
Check your vent caps to make sure they are releasing pressure. If they are clogged or not working right (like many have in the past) then the pressure will build and push the gear oil out. I am doing wheel seals on the rears on mine right now. Last year the vents got clogged and took out the...
Gimpy,
That one will do. Let me know and I can paypal or send a MO. No hurry on it. I was just thinking about it today when I was taking apart the other side. Everyone else, thanks for the offer.
Thanks
Chuck
You should look at shipping them by Grey Hound Freight. You must drop off and pick up at a bus station but they will ship things that the others will not.
Ted,
I may be heading up on Friday also but not until noon or so. I am also going up 127. If you are going to leave later than early let me know. If we are pretty close to the same time leaving we could convoy.
Chuck
For those that may have an axle that is being torn apart for a project, I need a backing plate for my rear axle brakes. I am having problems with one of the adjusters. If you have one let me know and give me a price.
Thanks
Chuck
Did you try bypassing the fuel cut off solenoid? There is a screw on top of the IP. It is used to start the truck when the batteries are dead. Something may be wrong with your cut off. Also make sure you have the fuel valve on the tank with fuel in it.
